Wrapping paper as outer packaging, inner packaging and filler material

Wrapping paper is an extremely versatile packaging material that is also considered environmentally friendly and sustainable. The different qualities, such as recycled paper, kraft paper, and various thicknesses, combined with the wide range of options available, ensure a broad selection to meet diverse packaging needs.

What qualities of wrapping paper are there?

      Border paper

Schrenz paper is brown or grayish paper, usually between 80 and 120 g/m², and made from recycled paper. It is one of the most economical packaging papers. Schrenz paper is less suitable for wrapping and more for use as filler material and cushioning products inside boxes or cartons. It is ideal for protecting heavy products.

      Packing silk

Industrial-grade tissue paper is 20-25 g/m² thick paper, usually made from recycled material. Here you are buying an inexpensive packaging material that is ideal for protecting or wrapping lighter items.

      Wrapping paper (industrial quality)

Industrial-grade wrapping paper is a recycled, white or grayish paper. In this grade, it is also known as "news offcuts," as it was formerly made from the excess and remnants of newsprint production. It has become an indispensable protective covering for wrapping delicate, fragile items such as glass and porcelain.

      Kraft paper

Kraft paper is high-quality, virgin paper that typically contains little to no recycled content. The presence of recycled paper reduces the material's strength. Due to its high-quality appearance, it is primarily used for wrapping and packaging products and gifts.
